Modified on Mon, Oct 4, 2021 at 9:45 AM

People with their own equipment that are already familiar with, could do their show sooner than later. If you are missing equipment (mic, headphones, XLR cables, ....) to complete a particular setup, please check out the Co-op's Radio equipment inventory and request by email. Remember that you have to be currently a Co-op radio member and a programmer to be able to book any item.

If you are unable to find what you are looking for in the inventory, please contact the station Technical Coordinator  at the email address: technician at coopradio dot org, with your query, we will do our best to find a suitable solution for you.

There are several variables that will change the equipment needs for a live broadcast.

The equipment need it for a basic set up for a show with one host and music played during the show.

  • Computer (any OS, with the recommended encoder software)
  • Microphone (USB mic or an  USB AD interface with a dynamic mic)
  • Headphones
  • Depends on where the pre-recorded audios live (music interviews, etc) it might be needed some external devices like CD Player, Cassette player etc. If the pre-recorded audios are in your computer there is not need any external device

In other more complex situations it would require more equipment or other kind of software to achieve a working set up. Please let us know if you need help with your particular setup.
